The rack design utilises high-quality and durable materials with increased corrosion resistance for a longer lifespan. The result is an integrated space-saving system that seamlessly combines heating, lighting, humidity, water and nutrient supply, software, and data monitoring.
Innovative air distribution system as the distinctive element
What truly makes the OptiRack Grow™ unique is the innovative air distribution system. To create an optimal microclimate among the plants, Bosman Van Zaal has developed an innovative and highly flexible air distribution system. It consists of a compact distribution system to regulate airflow from top to bottom and, conversely, to enable vertical airflow from bottom to top. According to R&D engineer Carlo Castelijn: "Our developed system is extremely flexible and ensures optimal air distribution tailored to the desired microclimate for each growth phase. The created airflows not only provide optimal growth conditions but also reduce disease pressure from fungi."
