Egypt Self-Sufficient
A.O.I. (Arab Organization for Industrialization) has a 15,000 m2 site in a densely populated area, on the outskirts of Cairo and adjacent to the international airport. Bosman Van Zaal developed different types of greenhouses turnkey. In addition, several sections were required to carry out multiple climate simulations for different products.
The design is based on a glass greenhouse and a foil greenhouse with extensive ventilation possibilities. The various sections must be individually and precisely controlled in terms of climate. Cooling is essential in both greenhouses. Our engineers opted for a cooling concept based on adiabatic cooling.
Water Efficient
Because of the challenges in the area of water, the in-house developed Cyclone was chosen. This is a unit that provides a more stable and more controllable pH, which enables better absorption of the fertilisers.
The realisation of a greenhouse project is a complex interplay of different disciplines. After the various parts and components have been produced in our factory, they must be shipped to the project site according to a meticulous schedule and in the correct order. Our supervisor organised, received, and checked the containers on site and was responsible for the assembly and installation carried out together with the client's employees.
